CE EDUCATION COURSES
Renewing your insurance license requires completion of varied “CE” continuing education courses usually needing 20 to 24 hours every 2 years. The LAAIA offers a variety of educational courses that include CE credit hours. Our annual convention again will have several classes all offering CE credits. Some of these courses in the past have included topics such as E&O avoidance, General Liability coverage’s and forms, Workers Compensation, Homeowners, flood, rental reimbursement and many more. Members are eligible for 2 CE hours just for being a member of our association and attending our monthly meetings and events.
DESIGNATION COURSES LIKE CPIA
Certified Professional Insurance Agent or CPIA is a unique how to training courses earned in a 3 day series of Insurance seminars that will help producers, agency owners and staff produce and create effective sales results and how to safely avoid problems in communication and E&O incidents. CPIA 1 – Position for Success, CPIA 2 – Implement for Success and CPIA 3- Sustain Success are the modules needed to earn your designation and we offer them all.
CITIZENS POWER LUNCH HOUR WEBINARS & AGENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS
At present 3 to 4 times a year the LAAIA partners with Citizens to offer all members and their agency staff informational webinars to share new requirements and share questions other agencies have. Also renewing appointments with Citizens is easy with our partners to offer the Agent Certification Programs in Either Broward County or Miami Dade during the year. Our members have the advantage of being the most updated insurance professionals and this makes business sense.
